Time, I think to put into print my thoughts on your firm, it’s work ethic and the staff.
Lavis Electrical Services were recommended to me by Coastal Building (run by Richard & Julian) as being a very good & reliable firm to use for all the electrical work I needed – wiring in a new extension to my property and rewiring the existing building.
I decide to get a quotation and was amazed when I discovered that the firm was owned and run by a 26-year-old! However, I was really impressed with the professional way in which the quotation was drawn up with the owner and another member of staff going around the property with me, checking what was required in each room. A written quotation followed a couple of days later set out in a most comprehensive and understandable form. After quite a few amendments had been made by me, each time accompanied by an altered quotation, I told Steve Lavis he had got the job.
From the moment work started I was impressed with the staff and their professionalism, nothing was too much trouble even when I changed my mind about something! Extra jobs were added to the specification, each time accompanied by a quotation so that nothing came as a surprise when the final bill arrived.
Because of the complexity of the job it was essential that the work was coordinated with the builders with the electricians turning up when needed – never once was there a problem, not even when a member of staff broke his hand playing rugby! If a job needed to be done by a particular time, it was, even if that meant working well into the evening. The staff were all brilliant but a special mention has to be made of Carl Thompson who put his heart and soul into ensuring that I as the customer was 100% satisfied.
If I had a query I could contact either Steve Lavis or Carl Thompson at any time and the responses were always quick and helpful.
It has been a pleasure having Lavis Electrical Services on board whilst my house has been extended and renovated, the standard of workmanship is superb, the staff are so professional, helpful and accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble.
In short, I am over the moon with Lavis Electrical Services & I recommend them very highly – no one could have done better than they have.
I shall never go anywhere else in future if I have anything electrical to do – it will be Lavis Electrical Services for me!
